Migrant Protection and Assistance

IOM assists migrants who voluntarily decide to return home to or from Uganda. These include victims of trafficking, stranded migrants, irregular migrants and failed asylum seekers. Cooperation between IOM Uganda and IOM missions in corresponding countries ensures that migrants are assisted before departure, during travel and after arrival, including helping them to settle in.
